65 million Years Ago....?

DID DINOSAURS REALLY LIVE MILLIONS OF YEARS AGO?

No they did not. In fact, there is really no such thing as millions of years. The Bible makes it clear that the earth is only a few thousand years old. and dating methods based on real science agree.

WHEN DID THEY LIVE?

The Bible teaches that Dinosaurs were created on the fifth and sixth days of creation. So Dinosaurs lived with man in abundance from the beginning of creation until the flood of Noah.

Dinosaurs with Man?

In the Paluxy Riverbed in Glen Rose Texas, there are thousands of dinosaur tracks. There are also several hundred human tracks walking with the dinosaur tracks in the same layer, some even overlapping! I took these pictures in October 1998. Point to the trail to highlight the tracks.

Here a human trail crosses a trail of three-toed dinosaur tracks. The dinosaur trail runs across the riverbed and the human trail runs parallel to the bank. I counted 14 human tracks at this site. To the left is a close up of one of the human tracks (shown in blue above)

DINOSAURS IN THE BIBLE?

Some Dinosaurs survived the flood. The Bible says ALL air breathing land animals went on the ark.(Noah probably took babies). Job, who lived after the flood, records two dinosaurs called Behemoth and Leviathan. You won't find the word dinosaur in the Bible because the word was only invented in the 1800's. Job 40:15 begins a description of behemoth:

Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. 16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. 17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. 18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. 19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him . 20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. 21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. 22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. 23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.

Brachiosaurus?

Leviathan may be a T-Rex:

Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?...Wilt thou play with him as with a bird?..... Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about. His scales are his pride, .... When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves. (Job 41)

WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM?

Most scientists today are accepting a theory that some great catastrophe wiped out the dinosaurs. There is good evidence to support this and the Bible has the answer. The world before the flood was totally unlike the world today. The earth was like a tropical paradise. No rain, only a mist. No cold weather. The flood came and buried the dinosaurs in huge fossil graveyards which are still difficult for evolutionists to explain apart from a flood. Bones must be buried rapidly to form fossils. The few dinosaurs which survived the flood were unable to live in the new harsh climate after the flood and started dying off. Some were probably killed by humans accounting for the dragon legends in so many countries.

DINOSAURS STILL ALIVE?

Over 11,000 people in recent years have seen animals which fit the description of dinosaurs, such as the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland or Lake Champlain Monster in Vermont.

A dead plesiosaur was even caught near New Zealand by a Japanese fishing boat and the government of Japan issued a comemmorative postage stamp!

CONCLUSION

Dinosaurs did not live millions of years ago. The Bible makes this very clear and real science supports this. If the Bible is right about Dinosaurs, (and it is) then it is also right about a place called Hell and how to avoid it.
